File types

In both sets of data you'll find the following file types

UK Airfields and Outlandings

This is a set of files which provides radio frequencies for UK airfields, and a list of landouts - strips, disused airfields and so on.  The list is designed to be complementary to  the BGA Turning Point list which also contains radio frequencies for the airfields included in it.

In almost all cases, the frequencies are the first frequency to call for a cross country glider on its way into the airfield - so for an airfield with both approach and tower frequencies, it is most likely the approach frequency.

Also included in this set of files is the current BGA Frequency Reference Card.
